Basically although it has chackpoints you can choose where to go, no set route marked out. Also environmental effects will also have an effect on where you go. For example you wont go down a route where there is a tornado (well you could but it would be a little silly).

The whole open world bit is available outside of the racing too. For example if you fancy a wonder you can do, just drive for miles and see what is out there!

@AJB123644 ok that sounds better ill have to drive into a tornado might fly me to the finish  but if i buy this and i cant drive EVERYWHERE ill blame you lol jokes 8) but thanks for the info i still feel like some will follow the main path and you if u go anywhere then u will lose ? unless the environmental effects have a massive impact to make everybody go everywhere any idea how long a race can take?

Haha well it could work!

Haha, please do haha! I am buying it too so we can blame me for it anyway.

I dont know. They say the GPS system isnt always the quickest route but other than that I couldnt tell you anymore. I really hope it is quite freeform in what you can do but I guess there will be some linearity in there somewhere.

Again not sure. Apparently you can create your own races etc so what ever you create is how long you will go for. As for in game races I dont know. Sorry about that!
