I also noticed that the Joytech charger was due in March, but unless it becomes available at £14.99 or less, you're better off importing.

It uses the USB socket to charge with, so there are no mains adapters or incompatibilities to worry about and as they're most likely to be under £18 from import sites, you won't have to pay customs.

Better be careful as Ni-cad batteries are much heavier than Alkaline batteries.

Free power

I've been burning through the batteries so I bought a solar powered charger from Maplin. Only a tenner, and about £4 for a set of 4xAA. Even on a dreary day they can trickle charge enough for a night of Wiiage.

At least its a firm release. Article says no firm release date yet for those mentioned. and 1st March is under a month. whats point in importing when this does the job just as well!?!

This uses Usb to charge, charges 2 wiimotes and holds the nunchucks in a lovely little cradle. nice and neat.

the Nyko one sounds similar but till we hear a price and release date this one seems the better option to me.

Twas merely ensuring that everyone was aware it wasn't here yet...

Agree totally - the other two probably won't be here til June... I wonder if it matters what USB you plug it in to? Does it have to be a Wii?

I would of thought "Do you fancy a Wii?" Or simply "Wii?" would've been easier and more amusing?

I would usually concur with the usage of 'age' as a suffix to doing stuff as I'm a massive fan of 'age' - although I'm not 100% sure it quite works with wiiage. But then again perhaps(age)!

And can be recharged while in stand-by? I would have prefered that, but then we'd be charged about £50 for a Wii-mote.
