Using the Wiimote on the PC with GlovePIE

Postby Raz » 17 Jan 2007, 20:00

I havent seen this mentioned on this forum so incase anyone is interested.

Aslong as you have a bluetooth dongle you simply search for bluetooth devices on your pc and press the sync buttons (1)(2) on the Wiimote.

You can get the latest version of GlovePIE from here http://carl.kenner.googlepages.com/glovepie_download

just run the app and then File/Open a script and run.
The link below shows it running with googleearth

Many scripts can be found on this forum http://www.wiili.org/forum/wii-scripts-f38.html

If you want to learn how to write them check here http://www.wiili.org/index.php/How_To:_ ... IE_Scripts

Scripts are being written for using the Wiimote as a mouse or with the nunchuk for either emulators or for running PC games eg Half life or Doom 3 etc.

And then theres the ones that turned it into a bleedin light saber...

Take a look if it rocks your boat and its old news then apologies.

if you find any pages with scripts listed, just copy and paste them into a text file, then save and rename it with only a .pie file extension and they will be usable with GlovePIE.

heres another link with more scripts

This guy is dweeb!

Seriously though - I want this software! Suspect it costs mega-bucks though, as it's aimed at games producers rather than us humble noobs :(

Haven't seen anything to suggest that anyone has used it yet... but that is the point of it:
