Well knowing Square, it will probably take them a couple more years to port the code over from the extraordinary 360 version.

Couldn't care less about this. Its a comprehensively "average" RPG even by Square Enix standards, brings nothing new to the table and does nothing you haven't seen before.

Basically a last gen RPG in a HD gloss.

Completely disagree with the above, but thats fair enough I guess! I thought LR was brilliant myself once installed to alleviate the load times and slowdown.

I'm hungering for a fantasy based deep and engrossing RPG. Since BioWare joined the Dark Side and goes along with DRM I won't be buying any of their otherwise excellent RPGs. I haven't completed Fallout 3 nor Oblivion (which is what I'm playing at present time,) and while both games are lovely in many ways the extreme open-endedness can also get out of hand without some strict self-discipline in terms of finishing up quests. I'm interested in this title and pleased to hear that a PC port is already being confirmed so soon. :)

Great news makes the idea of us getting FF13 that much more beleivable too.

good point - if this sells well on the pc theres a good chance we might just end up getting a port of FF13. although knowing the recent pc sales its kind of unlikely ... unless they stick it on steam and count the cash that'll get rolling in.

Is this another online game or a stand alone RPG advenuture like the old days of Final Fantasy? I'm not a fan of the online games but loved the old Final Fantasy games (well, the two that appeared on the PC, 7 and 8). If this is a stand alone game, I'm buying it.
