Need for Speed: Undercover

One for our Most Wanted list?

We told EA to do this years ago. Right after Need for Speed: Most Wanted screeched onto our 360s and into our hearts way back in 2005. "This is great lads, one or two flaws but the concept is spot-on. Next time'll be the charm!" And then what? Carbon, that's what. And then ProStreet. If we could include sound effects in our magazine, like those awful Cliff Richard birthday cards, the noise it'd make now would probably be something akin to a derisive "Wa Wa Waaa".... read more

Need for Speed: Undercover

Postby Mark240473 » 01 Oct 2008, 11:41

The developers of Need for Speed should really feel the need for framerate as well. I am sick of NFS games being so lapse in this area, especially as the older versions (Porsche Challenge and the 3DO version) were technically awesome at the time.

Whether you like Burnout:P or not, the framerate is a joy to behold - 60 fps at 1080i and not a drop of screen tear or slowdown.

Go back to the drawing board EA. I'd rather have a smooth game than a flashy one...

Just seen the trailer on youtube looks a bit cheesy, the gameplay looks intense check out the highway battle video. Might buy it if i can get it cheap.

Ihe rest of this year is looking expensive enough as it is.

I got stung by both carbon and Prostreet!
don't get me wrong prostreet was a nice looking game and will run great on any average system you see now days so the new graphics engine from prostreet the only good thing from that game as the racing and the tuning was crap!!

I just really hope they go back to the way the cars we're tuned in Underground 2 and not Mostwanted and Prostreet with those damn slide bars as it left very little challange on a multiplayer base and was all about who could bolt on what!! but i'm not gonna say things about carbon as i may get my account baned :P

I wouldn't want that lol
