New Neverwinter Nights 2 expansion pack confirmed

Postby Musicalgibbon » 10 Jun 2008, 16:28

It does sound grand so far, especially based on the quality of the last ex. pack. Josh Sawyer mentioning Darklands in reference to the overland map didn't hurt too muich either.

It's sounding kind of like Temple of Elemental Evil, but with a better setting and story (yay) and NWN 2's combat (boo).
What they've said about the companions seems pretty interesting too - a configurable party (a la IWD and TOEE) but with some recruitable NPCs designed by the developers as well. Hopefully this'll mean than they can add party member death, without worrying too much about mucking up the story line.

With this, Purgatorio, Mysteries of Westgate and Mask of the Betratyer, NWN2 is definately turning into the best s**tty game I ever bought.

Have to agree with you there. :D

There's just something about Obsidian Entertainment, they just can't seem to handle living under Bioware's shadow.

humorguy: FFS, the SNES and Genesis are *not* going to kill PC gaming!

Wait, sorry... just had a major deja vu flashback.
