It's impressive that Microsoft would invest so much in PJ, wonder how the developers of Halo feel about it, even though he has limited experience in the games industry. The Halo movie is one thing, but the game is whole other beast. Not holding my breath until the final product is shown years from now, although inevitably the hype will start immediately...yawn.

This does sound great. But what about the other famous director who was gonna do something with EA? We still dont know much about that.

I think its great as Peter Jackson seems to be an actual games fan, some of his favourite games being Halo and Beyond Good and Evil, he even had a big say in the king kong game and that turned out better than anyone expected (although i've still to play it - HDTV issues and all)
