Christoper Paolini must be san irritating kid. At fifteen, he's written a fantasy book, seen it become a best-seller and now it's being made into a movie and a videogame. When we were fifteen we'd written a GCSE revision timetable and some moody poetry about a bat that everyone hated that lived alone in a postbox. It didn't get made into a Hollywood movie. Both of Paolini's books 'borrow' from Tolkien and Star Wars, and his parents also happened to be the publishers of the book, but we have to admit it's a great read.... read more
