New R6 Vegas 2 co-op footage

Postby funkyjack » 04 Mar 2008, 17:20

That is a fair point, the game (whilst I'm hugely excited about it) doesn't seem to have progressed in the graphics department very much at all, things do look a little sharper though.

However it's the co-op gameplay, tension and atmosphere I'll be buying this for, the graphics are secondary to that and I'm pleased the developers are giving us more substance in this department.

New R6 Vegas 2 co-op footage

Co-op looked awful in the first R6:Vegas too.
It was only the single player game that looked pretty.

The graphics in this video do look incredibly bland I must admit, but I have seen other footage of this game which looks much better and just as good as the first game which was a great looking game and will be hard to top this generation.

The online graphics for the 1st R6 were...shockingly bad, it seem that they haven't changed at all!!, very, very poor, i think i'll give this game a miss, i wasn't all the impressed with the 1st one.

This one goes into my bag with GOW, Ghost Recon and Rainbow 6. The bag is labelled "Attic".

Can't be arsed to watch the vid, but I hope they've sorted the story & cutscenes with co-op. They were nuked in the first game.

Not to sound too dismissive, but how good a look do you expect us to be able to take at the wall textures in a video running at such a small resolution? And I'm also unsure as to how exciting you want rooftops and utility corridors to look. I aint seen all that many funky breezeblocks in my time...
Sit down, relax, and have a nice hot cup of shut the f**k up.

PSW have an Review of it in this months issue i recall. How they have finsihed making the game so quickly ill never know. it was onyl announced a couple of months ago, yet it's finished!

I rekon this game will be too similar to it's predecessor.

what version of the ps3 do you have

shame you have to wait for a 5gb download before you play your games.

Vegas 1 was immense yet really lacking in the graphics field.

this one will follow suit but will exceed in what it does best, pure gameplay enjoyment and one that will better COD4.

Still wont retire from COD4 but I will be outside game on release day.

The graphics look s**t because it was filmed on whatever s**tty console takes your fancy. Thankfully, any of us with the sense to play games on a PC shall be rewarded with a game that looks good.
