No - It was Dread Lords thingy. This one is the second expansion. I want it but dunno when it'll be out in the UK. Play.com and gameplay.com don't say anything about this expansion.

Nah, Dread Lords is Gal Civ II (the Dread Lords is just the subtitle) and it's been around about a year (as I've had it for a while, and it was warm & sunny when it arrived). Dark Avatar has been around for a month or so (as Stardock sent me a lovely email telling me it was released and would I like to buy it - yes please, and thus I did).

Glad to see the game is getting the recognition it deserves as it was somewhat overlooked on initial release of Dread Lords (PCF gave it just above 60% although later admitted they'd been fools).

As for the Blog that's been on the PCG website, best thing I've read for ages and it's been very popular. It's also been responsible for getting people to buy the game who'd never considered it before :)

It's a very deep game though and hard to pass judgement until you've been playing for a long while and upped the AI, which is cunning and bastardly sneaky without cheating.
