New Riddick for 360, PS3

Postby g2dat » 17 May 2007, 08:20

Great, I really liked this game... now if they would just let us know when the next movie is coming... Maybe this being re-released is a sign of more news to come.

Just for the record, I know its Vin Deisil, I know a lot of people hate him and I get that.. Pitch Black and Riddick are great films though, he is involved with the actual writing and production of these films and the game so I have to give him some credit for that..

A remake?

I love the game, but can't we just get a completly new game instead? I know not that many people played it, but still...

I can understand the original getting a release on the PS3 but does the Xbox 360 really need it when it could easily be made backward compatible? Let's hope it doesn't end up like the bland, soulless port of Far Cry Instincts to the 360...

 MAYBE THEY'RE GONNA STICK A MULTIPLAYER MODE IN IT. I FOR ONE WOULD LOVE TO GET INTO ONE OF THE SUITS THE GUARDS WORE AND RAISE SOME HELL

Money for old rope again

riddick + acheivements = heaven :D

I'm guessing that the new chapter will set up the next game as it was reported a while ago that riddick 2 was in the making.

hope the new chapter will be like what blue shift was to half-life.

I've always wanted to play the original, but never had the cash at the time. now I do have the cash and i hear about this, I cant wait to get it for the 360! I hope they do add enough content though for the previous players to enjoy it again. as I'm not a huge fan of just graphical overhauls of games i bin playin for years. content and fun is what flicks my switch :D and cuz i aint played this game, its good news for me.

I think EGM reported this same thing a fair while back. Added crediblity, that we've got two sources saying nearly the exact same rumour...I think this is likely, and I never played the Xbox version, so I'm all for it.

Good game but is this the future of video games? Will it simply be $60 for a polished remake? Why not a full sequel?

Then don't buy it! I already had this on original Xbox so won't buy it, but i'm glad more people will get to experience what was fantastic (albeit, short) game.
