I hope this is true.
PGR4 is still the best racing game we've had this generation.

I'm a big Nintendo fan but even I purchased an xbox 360 on launch day solely for PGR. Great fan and enjoyed those online matches against mates - way better than what GT has become on the PS3 (yes played GT5 and it was so stuck up it's own exhast pipe). PLEASE don't make me get X720 because of this.

Absolutely one of the finest racing series ever. A day 1 purchase for me too.
Loving LCFC's surge to the top.

While I still find PGR3 to be the best this gen, I simply cannot wait!

Apart from Mario Kart, Burnout Revenge and somewhat Asphalt on iOS, I haven't really liked many racers!

Favourite racer of all time? It wasn't even my favourite PGR game. It all went slowly downhill after PGR2.

I like PGR so much that I bought PGR4 even though I don't own an Xbox360 :?

Ok, I got it second-hand for practically nothing and now it's sitting on the shelf waiting for the day I'll eventually get an X360. The 4GB cheapskates X360 model is on sale over here at the moment for only 99€...

I'm a big MSR fan and I've got PGR 1&2 on the original Xbox, which also seem to be quite good. PGR4 looks ace in the gameplay videos and I'd like to see a fifth installment on the IllumiBox... as a launch window title going against the PS4's Drive Club.

Nice editorial, it says absolutely nothing of value. Just a studio made up by ex bizzare, slightly mad and other studios guys...and a teaser for a new game. Some how that means PGR 5 is inbound...where do you guys get this stuff? Unless this studio is contracted to work on PGR by Microsoft then this whole story is nonsense since I do believe that PGR license is held by Microsoft correct me if I'm wrong. The new studio has no IPs to speak of so who on earth wrote this story needs to not make grandiose suggestions out of the blue, if anything this new studio will be making games for all platforms and not just Microsoft's console as this article suggests. Also nowhere in the editorial is there any rumor about Lucid working on PGR 5 or if a PGR is coming at all, since the last PGR didn't do so well and the studio closed this might just be a whole lot of conjecture. These guys might just be building their own game for next gen and will need to shop for a publisher.

@SavageEvil

I dunno, judging by the screenshot of London and the 'Road Opens 2013' sign I'd say that's a pretty clear indicator to a new PGR game- or at least a spiritual successor. Of course we could all be completely wrong and it's actually a completely different game but the prospect of a new PGR is too tasty to ignore.
