They could cut the price in half and it still won't sell until there some real system sellers available.

Just being able to play my old Wii games through a nice crisp HDMI connection is enough to tempt me at that price.

As mentioned on the forum before, once the Wii U hits the £200 mark I will get one, and I have stuck to my word. I have just ordered it and cannot wait... Lego City and ZombiU should both be a great laugh!

Tempting, tempting.

If this happened 6 months ago I would have snapped their fingers off! But with E3 and Microsoft's big reveal due soon, I think I will wait and embrace 'proper next gen'

Sorry Nintendo, I used to love you but your current games just do not grab me like they used to.

I think they will fly off the shelves at that price tbh. I hope so because i'd hate to see Nintendo go under or stop making consoles. This could be the moment things start turning around for the Wii U, the price cut for the 3DS worked wonders and this price is in impulse buy territory.

I've owned SNES, N64, Gamecube and Wii as well as a few Gameboys & DS's in my time.

I'm still burnt by the horrendous amount of shovelware the was made available from the Wii where my core gamer values pushed me towards being a happy 360 owner.

Sorry Ninty but so far there's nothing to pull me back, even with the price drops. I've played Deus Ex, Arkham City, Mass Effect 3 on my Xbox already. And there are no Nintendo exclusives I can see coming that draw draw me in.

Where the Zelda game, new Metroid, Mario Galaxy (or even a Luigi Galaxy), F-Zero, Starfox, or even something new??
Pikmin 3 is the only one that piques my interest but where is it?

Sorry Ninty, I'm going to get a Next Xbox or PS4 as my new console. You've diluted your brand for me and are now too late to the party.

When you hear raves reviews about the best Wii U game being Super Marioland on the virtual console it just makes me cry for them and what has been lost.

I must say this is rather tempting. But with the likely possibility that the PS4 will be out this year I'll have to hold off. Plus I want to get a new monitor for my PC. So sadly I'll have to give this a miss.

I wonder if any of the other big retailers are going to match it or maybe go even lower, either way it's a win-win situation for any potential Wii U buyers at the moment.

Great price, but I haven't seen any price reductions in Ireland in any other shops so I presume it's just Asda in UK.
