Watch Dogs leads CVG most anticipated poll

Postby Zaphod_B » 23 Apr 2013, 16:26

Was it near the front of the 78bajillion pages by any chance? I'd like to vote, and I understand that long pages are a nightmare, but the 78 (bajillion) clicks needed is a bit much! Could you do a list of the game names as hyperlinks to the pages?

These polls can't be taken seriously at all anyway. You don't even have to sign in to vote and it's open to a lot of fanboys down voting what they don't like or just so their game of choice gets a better score. Come up with another way to vote in these things like a comment box where we write the name of the games ourselves and they're all added up. Of course that's CVG's decision.

Yeah, who ever came up with the layout of the polls and the dozens of pages really need to take a long hard look at themselves!

Watch Dogs looks interesting but I haven't seen anything that says why it will be good, beyond snazz.

The polls were a waste of my clicking time.

Sounds like my top five, maybe a different order though.

I dunno, it looks good, but it's not THAT good looking so far. We've only seen very controlled samples so far. I'll wait.

Watch Dogs looks interesting but more exciting than GTA V....No way!

Watch Dogs looks like a promising game, but I really doubt that it will surpass GTA V in any popularity/anticipation contest in reality. It just won't happen, GTA has a long history of being awesome, and staying some-what loyal to their true fans. Not to mention that Rockstar games have way higher reputations than Ubisoft (look to what they did to Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, and Ghost Recon). Watch Dogs is going to be the under-dog in this match up, and although I hope it will come out as a top notch game (before it becomes a cash crop for Ubi), I will definably save up and buy GTA V first and then check out Watch Dogs once I beaten almost all of it/play the crap out of it.

I would have voted but it took too long to register each vote and it was never ending so I gave up. Next time, make the coding work better or no-one will bother voting.
