If they re-vamp the career mode then ill be interested. I love the driving model but the racing against predictable ai and having to repeat races to gain cash got boring real fast for me.

Hopefully this will turn out to be the game that GT5 should of been. :D

i get the feeling this is going to be a GT 5 full price add on with a 6 on the box, there is normally a 4/5 gap between games and here is 6 less then 3 years after a fully stacked part 5, what's left to add with current tech other then more cars/tracks, and to make a quick pound till 7 on PS4.

It was a pain in the beginning to get cash, with the update they sorted that out and you also got a decent amount of cash for online races too.

I actually like the fact that its harder to earn cash in the GT games, and think the career mode is a far better experience than Forza's awful grid menu/get thrust into races you don't want to do. Forza by comparison practically gives money and cars away at every opportunity. I came last last night in a race against two friends and got £10,000 - for losing. As a result I find the game far too easy as you can just throw money at buying fast cars and then blow a fortune tuning them up to make them even faster. I have 13 million in the bank for practically doing nothing. There's no challenge. GT on the other hand I started a few weeks ago, only have 5 cars and £10,000, so it makes you really think about what cars and upgrades you're buying. A balance is whats needed in these types of games. You don't want it to be too easy to earn cash and cars but also you don't want it to become too much of a grind like Pay-To-Win games. I think GT got the balance just right and am looking forward to the next entry in the series.

It'll be a copy and paste job from GT5. GT5 was a copy and paste job from GT4 on the PS2. There's no way that there's been enough time to back to the drawing board with GT6. GT5 sold well because you had to buy it to play it, most who bought it agreed it was cack. I don't see the point in getting the PS3 version if it's going to end up on the PS4, but I hope the PS4 version isn't a copy and paste job of the PS3 version. Would be interesting to see a Vita version, but not if it's a copy and paste job of the PS3 version. Yes, there seems to be a lot of copy and pasting with GT at the moment. Sony needs to get some balls and get it up there with Forza, more so on the PS4. And leave out those stupid go karts.

I think that's the most times i've seen copy and paste used in a comment. From the master of copy and pasting no less!
Here's a lockpick, now jog on.

The handling might be realistic, but your AI opponents are far from it. I would want big changes before I buy another Gran Turismo, which is hard to say since I've played them all, and really enjoyed them apart from GT5.
You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend: Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig.

Forza = 5 games in 7 years
Gran Turismo = 5 games in 16 years

Please explain how you are saying that GT "hasn't got time to go to the drawing board". And that they're all copy and paste jobs, yet you say forza is "up there" when it has had the same number of games released in half the time? :roll:

I dont care about AI, GT6 could be an online only multiplayer game, I would appreciate that. What is the point in racing against a processor when there are real racers out there with so many different ways to race against you and different talents.

he's just trolling lol.

it's pretty well known that they started from scratch with GT5, hence it taking 5 years to produce it.
it's also pretty well known that GT6 will use the GT5 engine, as it was announced just before GT5 was out! it was also announced just before GT5 came out that GT6 would only take a couple of years to make afterwards because the engine is the part which takes the most time to produce!

oh, and every 'problem' with GT5 posted in the comments so far, are written by people who either hasn't played it, or played it when it just came out and not since they patched it! the patch sorted out ALL the problems widely reported and written in reviews. there's even new reviews of the game since the patch if you look. you should check it out if you've only played the original code! 8)
