FF Games are so beautiful, it's a shame tthey're getting bad reviews

I haven't played them but apparently they suck diarrhoea soaked pants

I thought they were using the engine that demoed agni's philosophy for the next FF game.

It's a shame indeed, as the older ones were so good. It's mostly the XIII games which have damaged the series reputation. Can't really comment on the MMO's as I have no interest in them for the sole reason that they're MMOs. In my opinion the XIII games mostly sucked due to awful story(telling) and horrible characters. I hope that once they leave the XIII universe behind and move on to XV (or vs13), they'll be able to return to their former glory.

It is not the same engine. They call it a sister engine or even a cousin as the set up of an mmo engine is different than that of a regular game. I believe all the demos they show are using DirectX9 and there will be an update to DirectX11 by launch if I remember correctly.

do we know when the PS3 will get the beta yet?

Nevermind,i hear second part of Phase 2 is about to start,PS3 beta starts with Phase 3

That is Final Fantasy VI music and FFVI opening. Terra and 2 soldiers in magitek armor. I wonder if they are going to use scenarios from existing FF games?

been playing the PC beta the last 2 weekends and its not that bad actually. Seems to be vastly improved and at least its easier to figure out what your doing
