From a hacker's perspective, Sony were asking for it. That doesn't mean you go and do it, but really, Sony was not in its right mind offering such a poorly structured OSP. Even today I would not trust them with credit card information if I were you. MS moving to windows 8 for their nextBox if rumor is true - is like dangling low hanging fruit.

You are probably right.

All hackers do is push the cost of gaming up though, as companies have to invest more me more to deter them.
