And how many of these titles are exclusive to the 360?

Does it matter?

The cross platform games all run better on 360 anyway

Seriously though, there's a lot of great games there, not all necessarily going to be great though, bioshock is hugely overrated imo, Tomb raider was brilliant and GTA will just be the usual rehash of mini games, which is not my cup of tea.

Wrong!

The fact you feel the need to make a point of it(despite how incorrect you actually are) speaks volumes.

The amount of times i've seen this used as some sort of petty justification for owning a 360 for 'multi-plat' titles got embarrassing long ago.

It was true that once multi platform titles were always better on the 360. This was down to one of two facts, it wasn't that radical departure from the last gen of machines, and secondly it didn't have any first party titles worth having so they looked better.

I don't understand why PS3 owners always feel the need to trash 360. It makes them look stupid.
I have both consoles, and enjoy the best of both worlds.
Personally, I've enjoyed the 360 more as the online element is superior to what PS3 offers, and the majority of multi-format games do run better in most cases.
Apart from that, each console has a decent set of exclusives.
I think 360 has pretty much used all those up now and are focusing on next-gen (a shame but hopefully the next-gen console has a better launch line-up due to this).
PS3 has some interesting titles left to release, such as Beyond: Two Souls and The Last of Us.
So in terms of the remainder of 2013, I think PS3 has the better exclusives, albeit Beyond won't appeal to everyone, but The Last of Us looks like the last final push from PS3.

I can only speak for myself, but as I own a 360, PS3 and Wii, I like to think my complaints about the 360 are based on my personal criteria of what makes a decent console. People may argue I should include the phrase 'In my opinion', when I say that XBOX SuXX. But as I'm the one saying it I don't think I have to qualify it as purely my opinion.

Get a sense of humour dear, it was clear he was being sarcastic.

Don't forget the 360 has been out since November 2005 and the PS3 only released in Europe in i think April 2007, so lets see how many more exclusives PS3 has in another 18 months which is how much longer the 360 has been out in UK and it took a good 2 or 3 years for PS3 to find it's feet.
I remember when all the PS fanboys were saying that MS would only give the 360 a few years before dropping it for the next gen but it was Sony who couldn't wait to get this gen out the way quick enough after promising they would be sticking with the PS3 for 10 years. I can't see them getting many more exclusives after Beyond: two souls and The Last of US as Sony have all ready stated that all their first party studios are working on PS4 games.
At the end of the day the 360 will be entering it's 9th year on the market by the time the Nextbox is released and i can certainly say this has been the most enjoyable generation i've had the pleasure of playing.
I'll admit that the 360 has had less exclusives than the PS3 in the last 12 months or so but 2012 was pretty quiet for PS3 also on the exclusive front.
Tbh the most people i find moaning about lack of 360 exclusives are PS3 players as i'm sure the most played games over the last few years have been 3rd party games like CoD and Battlefield and probably Halo which is a MS exclusive.
I really don't think many 360 players are interested in games like Ni no Kuni and hack and slash games like God of War either. Sad but i think true.
When all is said and done i think the 360 players will have had more years enjoyment out of their 360's as opposed to PS3 players

Non exclusives and sequels, with one or two non stellar "original" IP.

Killer final year for X-Box...

Have to agree with the guy commenting on the exclusivity of these particular titles, trolling or not.

The funny thing is the 360 has more exclusives this year than this feature lets on, they're just coming on XBLA instead of on a disc.

BattleBlock Theater, the new game from the Castle Crashers guys, was released last week and it's the best exclusive I've played this year. There is also State of Decay coming this year to 360 via XBLA and a console exclusive in Monaco coming this month.

All three are or look far more interesting than most of the "AAA blockbusters" in this feature.

And yes exclusives are important, they are the reason why you decide to buy a PS3 if you already own a 360 and vice versa.

Yeah but it's not good for the industry is it ultimately, if MS don't invest in more original ips, otherwise all we are gonna get is shooters and sequelitis.

Of course the Xbox has it's exclusive games, but any gamer being honest would like to see more of them.

What I don't like to see though is people dismissing Playstation exclusives/original ips as worthless with the justification that 'who cares I have enough multiplatform games to play on my Xbox'. The industry thrives off originality and would be a poorer place without someone investing money in making different types of games.
