Completely different development engine on android and IOS, It may have UE3 and soon UE4 but it's not the same engine that runs on the consoles. Wii U is more of a rival to current gen hardware than next, it was never likely to run the new game engines. Yes the wii U can stretch to the improvements that modern PC games can, which happens to be the latest version of UE3. It'd be pointless downscaling UE4 because you'd just end up with the UE3 again, or 3.5 as it were, since it's come a very long way since it's original launch.

No one said it was, but considering unreal engine powers a large majority of games on ps3/360/pc it's probably something to be happy about. Were you expecting something other than graphics from a graphics engine?
