First Battlefield 4 screenshots leaked

I'd really love it if thing weren't spoiled ahead of the official announcement. Although I'm not excited for the Battlefield 4, some are, and the person who "found" these and this site have just ruined it.

I agree. However, it's looking sweet and the MP map looks interesting and big. Nice to see the 2 sight set up on the M4 too. It will make a big difference to gameplay being able to have sights for medium range encounters and then hold the rifle at 45 degrees to use the close range sights just like in the real world.

I wouldn't say anything has been spoiled.

Besides, from the look of those pictures, they were going to be revealed by DICE at some point before release anyway.

How does showing three (3) pictures ruins the whole thing? As far as I know, battlefield 4 will just be a reskin of battlefield 3 with a few new features.

But yea... giving away 3! whole pictures is too much and totally ruined it for everyone .
/sarcasm.

Surely by your logic of it being a reskin that IS spoiling the whole thing ?

Yeah, honestly who gives two hoots this was leaked?
Its another shooter, expect shootey things. This if anything is just a taster for the trailer/gameplay clip i'm waiting to see. BF3 was a disappointment to me, so i'm holding out this is a return to form.

All I can say is, after starting Bioshock Infinite tonight, you can keep it EA.

Been there, done that. Not excited about BF4 it will have to do something very unique to move away from the BF3 reskin moniker.

Even videos and screenshots of games I'm not interested in are still exciting; for the fact they demonstrate how amazing games will look next generation. Hopefully graphics will be a subject no one discusses any more and story, game mechanics and playability will be the big discussions. I say that assuming ALL games will run at a smooth 60 frames a second. If Battlefield, for example, looks like it does in the videos and pics we've seen recently but still continues to sh*t along at 30 frames a second next generation, then I hope people do continue to rant, complain or question game graphics.

Also, I assume for all the near(ish), sort of photorealism in game graphics, they will continue to be visually child-friendly; as in characters blown up by grenades and explosives, just fly about, ragdoll fashion, without a hint of blood or missing limbs!? To date, I've only ever played one game where grenades actually had a slightly realistic effect. Gaming must be 30 years or so behind movies in terms of violence or gore, yet the industry is still scared of the media. Shooting a character in game is like watching some rubbish John Wayne movie shooting. We do have ratings on games now!!!
