This sounds like "we're going to try to be nice now"

They need to do more than this to earn the trust of those who already know this company has worked so far. Also make it 39.999.999 users as I didn't sign up voluntarily, it was that or not playing ME3...

This is a 'sorry you might have been hacked' sale
I got a warning for saying what most people have probably thought.

I predicted the Wii U controllers use.

They really are desperate for some good PR
Sales are usually a good thing, but EA could really do with just staying out of the headlines for a day.

About time they reduced prices. The prices on Origin are ridiculous. I wouldn't have downloaded origin if it hadn't of been for BF3, and i was forced to do that. Wont be using it for anything else.

EA need to realise that buying a game digitally should be cheaper than buying a hard copy!

EA does something bad: Pitchforks, howling, a goat gets sacrificed

I am critical of EA also, but seriously, change the record now. I think we all know "the internets" doesn't like EA, but the road to recovery must always start with a first step.

What a bunch of miserable bastards.
Some say he's half man, half fish. Others say its more of a 70/30 split. Whatever the percentage, he's one fishy bastard.

otherwise known as the "for gods sake please don't vote us worst company in america again" sale hence the reason u.s. residents get a hefty % off that other countries don't get.

Over on Steam its rainbows, unicorns, bubbling brooks, bear cubs playing happily and wine being poured by beautiful maidens.

Sales are always good. Might see if Sim City 4 is on offer.

On a sidenote, I've never understood how you can hate a company for doing what they exist to do. I know they've had a few rocky launches but they didn't do it on purpose. I don't see anyone hating Sony and they had the worst security hack maybe ever.

Seriously, if you find the time and energy to put into hating a company, then you have a lot of spare time and maybe you should try getting a fresh hobby. Try mechanicing or carpentry.

Sadly nearly all digital distribution needs to learn that lesson, I can buy games from Amazon etc. and have them delivered to me cheaper than Steam, PSN etc. 8)
What you need to remember is that there's what people want to hear, there's what people want to believe, there's everything else, THEN there's the truth!

You do realise that this is the very same company that less than a year ago on the very subject of sales said "they cheapen your intellectual property" and "We won't be doing that". Yet here we are with another Origin sale, I bet this one has nothing to do with trying to take peoples attention away from the SimCity 5 debacle.

I bought Choplifter HD for €4,99. Should be worth checking out for old-school gamers.
