Retro Vault: The Revolution, Beyond Good & Evil, The Termina

Postby Reegeee » 17 Mar 2013, 13:10

I got Beyond Good and Evil on XBLA as I missed it last gen but I can't play it cos you can't invert the y axis. I've tried persevering and I just can't get used to it at all.

Damn shame as it seems ace.

Kinda feels like this feature is running out of steam a little bit, 4 very short and not very interesting pages.

The start of that TurboDuo promotional video was like being in a George Michael music video. I was waiting for the console to say "would you like me to seduce you?" and George Michael to pop up and say "Yeah Yeah"

It amazes me that today people complain about short single player campaigns. Then you look back and realise that single player campaigns back in t'day were even shorter - Resident Evil (can be done in a little over an hour) Terminator (above) Krazy Ivan

At least this time we have short campaigns with "mega grafix" I suppose.
Fanboys of CVG Forums. This is the law. Disperse immediately, or we will use lethal force to clear the area. You have been warned. You now have 20 posts to comply.

Oh my dayz! I need to see the full image of that Terminator issue cover. Its the one i most vividly remember from my childhood and collecting CVG.
Didnt you give away a Terminator poster with that issue as well? ?

I like these retro pieces as I originally bought those old magazines, but would prefer they just scanned one complete issue per month and published.

Resident Evil complete in 1 hour? I know they are short but not that short!

Resident Evil (can be done in a little over an hour)

if youve never played the game before, there's no way it would be finished in an hour. (yes ive seen the speed run too)

Wow, that TurboDuo video was annoying. Bonk's Adventure (PC Kid) was there, but where were GunHed, Batman, Splatterhouse and Vigilante?

Also, the original Prince of Persia must stand as one of the most heavily ported games... EVER!
