Watch our top ten, then choose your favourite song, radio station and GTA soundtrack

Earlier this week, our weekly GTA 5 show GTAV o'Clock chose their top ten tracks of all time. It was heavy on the 80s, with a mighty nod to GTA: Vice City, plus a few curve balls from San Andreas and GTA IV. Hip hop, rock and, er, Vladivostock FM, were pretty poorly represented - but this is your chance to set things straight.... read more

For me, Vice City just edges out San Andreas as having the best soundtrack, the best song...Kate Bush singing Wow.

Best song has to be I Ran flock of seagulls. maybe selfishly for me personally because when i was 15 and I saw that vice city advert on the telly I knew i had to have that game. I had to live that scarface-esque life, discover the wonders of 80s music and finally fly properly for the first time in GTA.

And the soundtrack, along with the whole look and feel of the game, just so perfectly captures a decade. It has had a huge influence on my taste in music and what I expect games to express. (well i dont really have those expectations anymore because nearly all games are money making s**t now with no vision)

There's too many great tunes. Can't settle for just one! BTW,where is 'Rush, rush' by Debbie Harry and Giorgio Moroder? Was in GTA3 on Flash FM,from the great Scarface OST.Never got out of the car when that track was on! GTA got me into country music, opera, reggae, europop,Giorgio Moroder,(especially Liberty City Stories)Primal Scream,Blondie,80's,90's,Ruslana, hip hop,Connor and Jay,and countless others.Don't forget Lazlow on chatter box FM!

How are we supposed to vote for our favourite song if it's not on the bloody list?

Chase the Devil - Max Romeo (love that song)
K-Jah West (best reggae station that has appeared in a GTA so far in my opinion)
San Andreas (the reggae and country combination just about win it for me)

I think GTA4 had a soundtrack that was built to last. When I first heard the different stations I wasn't that impressed. What I did find, after playing the game for many moons, was that it grows on you quite a lot. It has never got old either, I still occasionally hear amusing lines of dialogue during the adverts or on the talk shows that I've never heard before.

I can understand why others didn't enjoy it though. A lack of Rock, Metal, Country, Classical and 80's Pop Ballads is sufficient enough to upset quite a few people.
It's just a ride.
