Totally agree, smaller developers have little to gain from staying exclusive. Unless the exclusive company is paying for it!

Small unknown companies dont really get to make games that look as great as journey, and take as much time as journey. And doing it for more platforms would only cost them more money. Journey came at a heavy cost, but i cant imagine EA or Activision giving a developer no one's ever heard of 4 years and MORE money to make a multiplatform game that seemed to be about collecting scarves....
