US Sony stores cut Vita price by $100

A check of WalMart, Best Buy and Amazon this morning didn't bring up this price point at all. I'm not seeing it anywhere on any American retail websites yet.

I think this may mean just the Sony branded shops and not just any shop. Like an Apple Store I presume

Can I download a Vita from the US if I have one of those celver printers that costs over £37, 000?

See myself without ruining lines
Whole days throwing sticks into streams

I have crawled so far sideways
I recognise dim traces of creation

Best to discontinue the 3G model anyway. Can't see it selling much. Sony using their brains to get rid of the 3g model before announcing a world wide price cut

Even with the current US/UK prices,UK come off the worst.Waiting for either a decent price drop here in the UK,or a lighter model that takes SD cards. In for a long wait, methinks. :(

Couldn't give to flying you know what about 3G and 4G for any gadget. But Sony Europe are laughable as per usual. A basic Vita with a downloadable game (they say its free...) for up to £230. Even at £200, it's still laughable. Looking at the price of memory cards today, it's gone beyond a joke, then up to £40 for some games (and there's quite a poor range). Sony Europe need to sit down, wake up, release more colours, knock it out for £149.99 with a game on a card, stop being silly with these memory cards and bring the price of the games down whilst they're at it. Even the price of the PS3 is laughable, more so consoles that come packed with games. It's making me wonder what they have in store for the PS4. But you could say the same thing with the 3DS and more so the 3DS XL which can sell for over £200 with a game. In 2014 with all these consoles at silly prices, not forgetting currents consoles, gaming is going to get jammed. Most will simply not pay these silly prices.

About time IMHO, cut the price by at least £75. If more people buy it it will get better third party support. I really like the Vita, I'ts a great mini console. Going on abroad in the next year or so? Perfect companion. Uncharted & Assasinss Creed 3 & LIttle Big Planet Vita will serve you very well. Cheaper than a gaming laptop & microsoft controller by about £2700. Thumbs up! lol :D ...oh and pick up Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for the kids, mine love it!
