Sold mine aaaggggeeeesss ago, it was just an expensive door stop for me :/

Shame really as the hardware itself is excellent, its just that there is no marketing push or support in general from Sony.

If sales had exploded as much as Gara claims then they would be boasting about actual sales figures, the fact they aren't gives the impression that he can't back up his claims with hard figures, instead resorting to vague terms like "exploded 20 fold" or even better pointing out that the release schedule might look bleak but somehow it wasn't then failed to actually give any hint as to why it wasn't, if they had any killer apps to announce then why not tell us, it's not like Vita is sitting pretty and can wait for decent games, it needs them yesterday.

The sad thing is Vita looks like a decent machine but Sony just aren't giving people a reason to buy one, the price is too high, memory cards cost too much, games are too expensive and there is a distinct lack of quality titles, it's been out for at least a year now it really should be seeing a better stream of quality titles.

Love the vita, it just needs time and a price drop. Sony sort out the remote play downloaded GOW collect but the lag is pretty bad on remote play, it hasn't improved since the psp sort it out.

I picked mine up just after Christmas, in an offer where it only cost £120 with Most Wanted. Brand new!
Bargain i thought. Main reason i never got one on release was the absurd price. If they hope to sell more, they need to drop it under £200.

What a load of tosh. Lookng at the Vita in the UK, it's at a premium price with a packaged game, only one colour which I think is very poor for choice. On top of that, there's not a lot of games for it, more so when you take away the cross format games. Games topping £40, daft prices for memory cards, it's not a good start is it? And there doesn't seem to be much in terms of new releases. I've played on one, it's an ace console, but like with the PS3, Sony just doesn't get it. Sony seem to be set in stone with its consoles after the PSP. I can't see Sony changing its ways with the PS4.

Matey, it still won't sell at under £200. The way Sony would sell it for under £200, is to sell it for £199.99. It sells for under £150 in Japan. £149.99 with a game would launch it. But its never going to happen.

We[well the internet] need some 'official' numbers really for sales of UK consoles & handhelds. Because all that gaming sites bang-on about is US sales:-/ I wonder(they love - MS)why lol

Everyone that is waiting for a Price drop is a reed bastard. Compare the device to any smart phone and tablet. The hardware is unmatched other than the iPad 4 but even that costs 500 dollars. If you ask me the price should go up.

Look, lay off now eh?

I'm more of a die-hard Nintendo fan than you are because I've never owned a non-Nintendo machine and I happen to know for a fact you have but you don't catch me prattling on the way you do.
I used to think you were great fun. Now I don't.

You've made CVG a sad place for me.
