Verbinski was also working on a film adaptation of BioShock which has since been cancelled.

I'm guessing he's also had a hand in many a title for the Wii U?

It's a shame Kinect is no longer being pursued.

A number of E3 announced kinect titles that haven't come to fruition. Milo, Ryse, Matter to name a few! There must be a lot of early kinect adopters on the back of these E3 promises that are pretty disappointed. Judging by the amount of comments over the forums of people barely using them, i'd say that is the case.
Makes you think maybe these titles were just filler for the lack of things to announce at past E3's

Is it a shame! is it really?

Shame, as it looked intriguing. What is it with film directors and games? They always announce a new game/studio, then you hear nothing until its cancellation. Only game I remember coming out was Clive Barker's Jericho, any others?
