Banjaxed:
..a term often used to describe incredible drunkeness. normally used in retrospect however in some prolonged cases of intoxication subjects have been found to admit to being "banjaxed."

They better sort this out for the PS4.
If you're offering these cloud services like game Streaming, i'm sure gamers won't be happy if they're down for most of the day. They could do maintenance on a region basis and schedule it at night when the network won't be as busy.

Might not be practical though.

See myself without ruining lines
Whole days throwing sticks into streams

I have crawled so far sideways
I recognise dim traces of creation

Yeah true, suppose they would get out of sync for a few days until the network was fully synchronised again. Dunno if that would affect the store and what not but you are correct.. Japan would be PSN ver 2.0 and the rest would be still at 1.9 for a day at the most

This never bothers me lol but i guess it would p*ss people off who are online 24/7 so hopefully this will be a thing of the past for the PS4? SONY did say they want to get rid of the annoying things that we have to put up with this Gen like waiting for patches to download etc etc. So i hope the PS4 is like the PS1 & 2 days, i.e buy a game & play it, i.e no f**king around waiting for things like we have to do this Gen.

I wonder if the network could ever be P2P. With seamless maintenance and background updates. Servers never going offline, because you are the server.

remember Australia are on the EU system, if they did the Maintenance on the EU servers at night, the Australians would be p**sed off and demand it be done during there night (which is our day)

nobody will ever be happy. You can still PLAY ONLINE just not access the PS store or account management, hardly the end of the world.

It doesn't matter to me, I'll just switch off my PS3 and use the more efficient Xbox live as I usually do.

Wouldn't mind if it was offline for days,if they got rid of the new store layout and brought back the nice old store.

Crap!!! I can't go online when I stick Tomb Raider on later now with the sole purpose of rubbing it in to those on my friends list who don't have it yet!

This is something that need sorting for PS4 but at least they have managed to limit the effect this has on users these days as the PSN login server is rarely down for long these days.

I logged in fine a few minutes ago and there are plenty of people popping on and offline at the moment.
