Tomb Raider was all about exploration, puzzles, atmosphere and platforming. The action was just filler till you got to the next major area and puzzle. It also let you do the exploration and never told you anything at all, it was all on the player. The old games also have underwater exploration. Action is the emphasis of the reboot which is a really dumb decision. Here's what's wrong with the reboot:QTE'sregenerating healthsolve puzzle visionNo swimming, on an island surrounded by water. It's like there's no spirit of what the game should be at all, why is it even called Tomb Raider? It could have been a brand new IP.
