It looks great until the shooting starts then gets boring

They always get dudes who can't play for s**t!

Looks very promising, with long draw distances. Great particle effects with the blast also.

ABOVE How do you know that it's not a big leap??? You haven't seen it in 1080p yet.

The cityscape looked simply amazing, great stuff for a (probable) launch title. They spent a bit too long in the demo fighting in that more plain-looking dimly-lit area though.

Looks fantastic, can't wait to see it when they turn the enemy AI on.

Killzone has pretty good enemy AI so I guessed they turned it down so they could rush through.

The cityscape looks really good, my only fear with FPS games is they never truly evolve. COD is probably partly to blame. Dishono(u)red was a perfect example of a great, original FPS, if more games follow that sort of lead then FPS games can start to become original again.

Now that I've seen the gameplay in somewhat acceptable quality (720p) - having suffered from the buffering nightmare during its initial showing at the Sony press conference - it looks mighty impressive already. Lots of fantastic detail, great lightning, massively improved animation. Imagine the whole thing in 1080p/60fps with even more polish ... well, count me more than slightly intrigued.

If they, for a change, can throw in a tolerable narrative, half-decent characterization, keep the focus on the series' strong suit (thrilling, visceral combat) and dial back on some of the unnecessary changes committed to the multiplayer of KZ3 in order to appeal to the CoD crowd, this could turn out very good indeed.

They could have used a better set piece for their reveal, and they could have have shown the use of the new controller's touch screen, as the Killzone games always feature stuff like that, see arming bombs with Sixaxis.

But beyond that, it's hard to make a shooter look that interesting, FPS Fatigue considered

It looks nice, but seeing this after having to sit through a 5 minute video of developers going on about how the specs of the PS4 are incredible and will allow so much creativity and originallity, it was then really dissapointing for the first game to be an FPS sequel! And aside from looking nice, didn't seem to display anything different from a gameplay point of view - not exactly original or creative.

On the plus side, was nice that they uploaded the video of the play through at the end, guess they anticipated being asked if this was really in game footage!

No disrespect against short people but I really hope they make me feel taller than 4'5", K2 and K3 were awful for making me feel like a shorty, when ever you walk up to someone the camera is centered on there nipples (how about DEVS introduce adjustable camera height?). Also would be good to to feel like I am crouching more than 2"......Please give us option to turn button hints off. Anyways Looks pretty enough. Sice I keep hearing that the PS4 is so powerful that DEVS no longer need to worry about pixels and the like and only thier "imagination is the limit" than I expect to see full destruction and "human" AI, none of which I saw in the trailer? looks pretty though...

The 'just looks like a PS3 game...' comments never cease to amaze. A trip to Spec Savers then eh? Sheesh!

I never noticed, but I'm 5'2" so it might be how I see the world? Nipplescity.
