Thing is the demo's on U so far time out after 30 separate uses, so is this essentially a free unlimited use mini game or not?
Good question. How will it tie into the full game release too, will we lose our scores? Does the "1 level designed exclusively for WiiU" signal a redesign of levels in the main game to be less GamePad-y? There's a lot of questions, likely since this is a snap decision to calm people that hasn't been fully thought through yet. Hopefully they err on the side of treating-the-consumers-well, but I really feel for the overworked devs at this point.
While it's less of a slap in the face than another demo, it still isn't really on to cancel a finish product weeks before release just to appease some ridiculous be-suited morons who don't realise the damage this does to the company's image. I'm not sure they quite get
the outrage yet: most WiiU owners don't want "exclusivity" or to get upsies on Xbox and PS3 owners in any small way they can, they want to play a finished title that's been hyped-up for months.
Also: is it just me, or does Ancel look really damn sad in this?
