UK Chart: Aliens Colonial Marines takes No.1 with biggest la

There must be alot of Alien fans out there. It didn't get great reviews. I suppose it's a bit like Duke Nukem bad but curious minds need to find out for themselves. CVG I don't see previous weeks position in () :D

this article shows that alot of gamer's don't read reviews if they did ACM wouldn't be number 1 in the charts, and there's going to be a lot of upset alien fans once they have played and realised what a piece of crap ACM is.

Yo capcom, a terrible game has better sales than you're mediocre game.

There is indeed worse, but worth a go? Certainly not. So many better shooters out there.

This game is the biggest waste of a license - if this game was great you could only imagine how much it could've sold.

It's a pity Sega didn't recognise this and hire in a decent team to develop this.

Gearbox are one of the worst and overhyped developers out there, like Silicon Knights. Their games are hit or miss, sometimes good but never great. And before you mention Eternal Darkness and Twin Snakes in defence of SK, don't. Nintendo basically made the games for them.

I loathe myself for being one of the statistics that got Aliens to number 1

Started off ok, apart from the scale of some areas not matching (the very 1st room on the Sulaco for one).

The "twist" just made me go WTF!!! The ending, what a crock of *doggy doo* that was....grrr a travesty of a license

I think that probably just shows how few people actually read gaming sites like this, and how much brand name and hype/PR matter.

Unlike most of you on here, i have played and completed the game( i know a fool and his money) but i took a chance on it because i'm a massive aliens fan.

The game just feels unfinished, but it plays fine and i must say i really enjoyed the playthrough, exploring all the sets from the movies is a joy and the audio is very good.

The reviews are right in as much as it's not up to the standard we expect, but as a shooter i enjoyed the gameplay far more than any of the recent cods, or many other recent shooters.

My misses bought this for me as a Valentines gift, I bought her a Mulberry bag & a bunch of Roses.I wept, she thought it was for joy but no it was out of sheer disappointment & disgust.Suffice to say she isn't my misses anymore.
