It would be nice to have just ONE day without a Xbox 720, PS4 story.

In other news report claims new Call of Duty will be called Modern Warfare 4, Releases 12/11/13.

Now there is no need for a Cod story either.

You're going to being burping through the whole thread, aren't you? Flippin' typical. (sips Cosmopolitan)

Aw spit!
I play my console games in my box-room/man-cave.
I'll be that close to it, it will have to motion track my eye-balls.
On the plus side; I've got an internet connection!!!

I also heard that the PS4 will require players to evolve a 3rd thumb.

All rumours, but a bit less negative than some of the other next-gen articles posted here recently.
I don't see a problem with always-on Kinect. As long as the active area can be adjusted to compensate for smaller rooms and they fix the problem with the Xbox picking up random commands when watching films on Netflix.

Not really surprising if the rumour Kinect would come bundled with every console is true, but this could be a bad idea, if true. Whilst my current Kinect is always on, I'd be concerned that my console couldn't function without it. What if Kinect develops a fault or breaks? Would I have to wait till I get a replacement, even in order to play games that don't require Kinect?

The rest of the rumours sound good, especially the potential of running multiple apps, but the Kinect one sounds bad.
