Konami posts 9-month sales and profit decline

Realistically, and this is no exaggeration. If they released a Yu-Gi-Oh for the 3DS they would prob have more cash in the bank than Apple.

From a publishing perspective, they took a few gambles and lost - who bought Birds of Steel for instance (awesome game BTW)? And Silent Hill Downpour disn't look very thrilling.

Development-wise, PES was quite good this year, but not there yet. Hopefully PES 2014 on Fox Engine will deliver, and not just graphically. As for Metal Gear, they spent/wasted (depending on where you stand) so much money on MGR I wouldn't be surprised if the game doesn't end up being profitable. If DmC (one of the best brawlers this gen with Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Bayonetta and GoWIII) ends up losing money, I wouldn't put my money on poor ol' Raiden.

Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain can't come soon enough, they need a hit before they take a turn for the worst like Capcom.
