Xbox Live Arcade doubled revenue in 2012 - analyst

I'm very surprised by this as it seemed to me that aside from a couple big releases, Xbox Live Arcade seems to be losing momentum.

The list above tells you otherwise! They are all great games and shows how good Live Arcade is :)

There was only Fez, Trials Evo and Minecraft that interested me on XBLA this year. The Summer of Arcade was pretty shite, but I've got more hours out of Minecraft than I would want to admit, and Trials Evo was brilliant (although I'm not feeling the tracks on the last round of DLC for it).

Still by far the best thing about the 360, for me.

Arcade is full of corker games and nobody has mentioned DUST yet, what a stunner of a game that is, its like metroid met anime and had a baby, and it rocks, the voice acting is better than most of the so called triple A games. Also for people who like stuff like castle crashers etc why not try DUNGEON FIGHTER, its huge with massive amounts of equipment and skills to unlock and upgrade. I must have bought about 20-30 arcade games from xbox last year and theres still stuff i want.

Last week Shogun came out and thats the next one on my list of purchases as the demo was great also the cave will have to be snapped up soon as well.

No wonder its revenue doubled, if you cant find something good to play theres no hope for ya.

Just goes to show what can be achieved when you get things right. Though I wonder how these figures compare to Steam... :|
