No.

These companies should stop with the gimmicks. It should just be about games.

Wonder if they'll take the Miiverse/Steam route or stick with the flawed Home idea.

Just what Sony need another of, a possible online social network of child groomers and sexual deviants harassing women! Home had great potential but it failed for the really interested players. Now it just continues as a boredom killer with the odd interesting minigame, raking in the cash from people who actually pay for the virtual items.

Has the hots for: Several friends, that quiet brunette down the street, Kai from Heavenly Sword, sonic_uk, Multiplayerking, Doug, and probably your sister and/or mother.

Just realised how badly they've set themselves up to have the game renamed as "BugFest" if it has probs

Like the Kindle Paperweight.

'Sausage Fest'
'Cock Fest'

Home was a great idea, it has just never worked for me. Good news if it's profitable, but really and truly it's a bit crap, I too have checked out some of the mini games and been very suprised at how playable they were, but they're lost in amongst all the tedious crap... and walking... and 'other people'... :? .

Home needs Gaikai support. It takes far too long to download stuff and move between area. I'm on a fibre line now and it still takes a while.
The whole world should be any open area with vehicles (buses, tubes, planes) to get around in. You should be able to see Home from each region and not be restricted. You should enter a building (casino, arcade, shopping mall) and be able to move around freely. The games should be accessed by a menu system and not by trying to find a line of sight to a set number of points.
There's so much more that could be done with home, than what we have seen. It needs to be an actual living, breathing metropolis.

I wholeheartedly agree. I tried to like Home but it was too damn slow and unfriendly. If the sandbox was a real sandbox, and the interesting minigames and activities promoted accordingly it might work on PS4. Hopefully.

^agreed. It should be possible on the next PS console. Hopefully the transition shouldn't be to much of a hassle and Home 'Beta' should have set most of the ground work. Would be a great place to discuss and organize MP games, enter tournaments, virtual E3, Gamescom, TGS booths and demos for new games

Hey you cheeky chap, you know that's my line

Totally agree with other comments regarding Gakai , I would actually think that this was the main thinking behind buying gaikai. Contrary to what others put , it is not overun with perverts and groomers , but it is a great free sims like experience which im sure could actually skyrocket given the right circumstances . Using Gakai to run Home should eliminate the loading problems that the billboards experience and which break the illusion.
Whatever this bigfest is , they need to connect the areas as others have said, and have a Audit to cut any remaining chaff loose.
I would hope that this bigfest is a big home like experience with all the customisations (and more) albeit with certain areas only available to users of specific Sony products.

PS Buy savage moon and the waldegiest expansion
Hey its Martin A , not Martina by the way, cheers
