but they didn't fix the s**tty network system!

it's still peer to peer hosting which means if you live outside on the us and have US friends then you're gonna lag like a bitch

why can't it be server based?! even battlefield bad company was (and still) server based

There will be no servers due to the amount of users that COD has, it will cost too much and Activision are tight arses anyhow, elite still doesn't work properly even a year on and then you have people complaining they cannot join a server and have to queue up like it gets on Battlefield.

It costs Actvison just over 3,500 dollars in a year to run ALL their servers in bandwidth charges. One good server blade could host a HUGE amount of Call of Duty MP games. Being mostly only six on six hell a single blade can house how many MMO players at any given time? When you see that most MMO's are going the BTP and FTP model the whole cost thing is just like the bullshit spun about consoles being sold at a loss.
