God Of War Ascension - There will be blood

Kratos sinks to new depths of brutality, and he's picked up some new tricks from Call of Duty

It was initially believed that the latest God of War would depict its infamously bad-ass Grecian protagonist, Kratos, as someone who has grown more in touch with his 'human' side. Frankly, it's hard to imagine the stabby Spartan cuddling up with a flowery Cath Kidston duvet with tub of Neapolitan.... read more

God Of War Ascension - There will be blood

Hope they release the single-player demo they had included in 'Total Recall' . Wouldn't mind trying in out before its release in March, to see how it feels/differs from the 3rd installment. Gameplay looks alot smoother/fluid from what I can tell.

I realise the God of War games will never come out on Xbox but I wish they would come out on PC.
I wonder why Sony won't let them come out on PC even say two to three years after release on PS3 so that it does
not mess up their "exclusivity" against Xbox.
I think it's a shame as I would definitely buy (NEW) the whole series on PC but I'm not going to buy a console just for
them.
Unless this is to do with PC's are pirates?
Same goes for the Gears of War games (and others) on the Xbox, I'd love to see them on the PC.

The only way I thought they might do it, was to make it format exclusive, i.e. Blu-ray (which would make it harder but not impossible for pirates) or to sell through PSN digitally on PC (they have now made it possible to access PSN through your PC to make purchases for PS3)
Still the problem with making your exclusives available on other formats is that they lose the incentive for others to purchase they're console. Its also a pain for their first party developers to code for other formats when they can concentrate on getting the most out of one system.
Developing for PC means you have to take all the varying components (GFX cards, GPU etc.) of each Rig/system into consideration and make sure they'll work accordingly for all. In other words its easier and more cost effective to concentrate on the one platform.... long story short, buy a PS3

You are correct.
I just looked it up and the first one was released on PC.

As I tend to shop in retail stores/Steam/GoG I have never seen that.
Maybe if I shopped on Games for Windows I would have spotted it.

Thanks for pointing it out :)
