Legend of Zelda Wii U: Nintendo 'rethinking series conventio

Well I hope they do not change the play by yourself attitude! I honestly think nobody has an interest in a proper Zelda with the likes of Co-op, Zelda is a single player experience and i hope they keep it that way.

Legend of Zelda Wii U: Nintendo 'rethinking series conventio

I loved Skyward Sword but having to read the same damn text over and over again after I acquired an item drove me mad!

I mean seriously why do they do this!? I mean you should be able to skip speech anyway..all you can do is slighty speed it up

Not sure how I feel with this one, its a great game and most probably still have the original.

Great for people who haven't played it though, its one of my faves since ocarina.

Thing is, I can see this going for full price and other than nice lighting effects and sharper images, its still a gamecube game a heart!

I do feel like the series needs to evolve, but co-op/multi-player is not the answer.

Watched the video now and all I can think is.....

its like they have gone backwards from the N64 version, where it had started to evolve.

Why why why? Seems a better idea to just release the gamecube version on the wii-u online shop, it's still a good looking game.

Is everyone forgetting Four Swords!?!

that was a brilliant set of multiplayer Zelda games, if they can do what they did with that but in HD3d then i may have to rethink on not buying a WiiU.

IN REPLY TO Fishyginger or like i said in an earlier post on another thread they should have allowed you to play gamecube games from their original discs and upscale them slightly like they have done with the wii games in the first place as the capabilities are there nintendo just did not want to program it in just like sony and the PS3.

IN REPLY TO Fishyginger no you can not play gamecube games on the wii u what i mean by the capabilities are their i mean it excepts the gamecube discs and tries to rwead them so it knows there is a disc in there it just cant read the infomation off the disc all nintendo needed to do was program the laser to read the infomation on the disc and the rest to of the machine to translate in to a signal to the tv and everything else that it needs to do because the way i see it thee wii u is a tweaked up wii is a tweaked up gamecube. i hope younderstand what i mean.laymens terms

Gamecube Cpu IBM PowerPC "Gekko", 486 MHz
Gamecube Gpu ATI "Flipper", 162 MHz
Wii CPU IBM PowerPC-based "Broadway" reportedly clocked at 729 MHz
Wii Gpu ATI "Hollywood" reportedly clocked at 243 MHz
Wii U Cpu 1.24 GHz Tri-Core IBM PowerPC "Espresso"
Wii U Gpu 550 MHz AMD Radeon GPU "Latte" formerly ATI

you are going to say but they are totaly different what i mean is also that they run all the same way as each other in everyway but engineered differently thats how both wii can play gameube discs out he box and wii u can play Wii discs out of the box i have tried to make it easier to understand what i mean.
