Breakthrough as Skyrim DLC is set for PS3

I hope that patch comes out well before the DLC ,to allow people to test and see whether or not anything was actually improved in terms of the horrid slowdown as you progress in the game. 50% off is nice, but would be useless if nothing was fixed and the timed discount period sounds like a quick cash in before people realise that it's still broken (if that is still the case). Nonetheless if it is fixed, i hope people enjoy the new DLC as i don't feel compelled to go back any time soon.

I wonder what effects this will have on the game. Probably adverse effects I'm sure.

I gave up waiting for it on ps3 and got it on pc. Guys do the same. Mods make it worthwhile and my laptop runs it without being anywhere near high end.

Is it worth buying on the PS3 - is it working OK now? I could get it for my average PC instead - what to do? :|

I put 100+ hours into the main game this time last year without too many issues, only a handful of crashes in that time. Technically its Bethesdas best game on PS3, it is a lot more stable than Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Just make sure to turn the autosave off as that courses the game to pause whenever it actives to put a save down.

If your PC can run it though get that version.

Nice when the DLC is out i'm getting it all and then it's back to PS3 Skyrim - although demon Souls, Mass Effect 1 and Darksiders 2 keeping me busy atm (yes I like RPG's).

50% off is definately a good gesture.

Hmm, I wasnt going to bother but 50% off is a nice touch. I do love Skyrim despite its many flaws.

Its worth it on pc as mods are pretty awesome. Some amazing quests and stuff have been made. Just make sure you can run it. google 'can i run this'. systemrequirementslab will check if your pc meets specs. My laptop met min requirements and its runs fine. I met get in on ps3 for trophies but i'll wait for a full dlc edition

Alot of the time it gives incorrect information so do NOT rely on that site to be totally right.
