Are you actually shitting me. The only one on that list that even vaguely deserves it is Halo 4.

Wow so that's the list of games they've briefly seen their kids play this year.

Terrible list. TWD should win it, they don't even need a shortlist.

"However, the Writers Guild of America awards are reserved for those who nominate themselves within certain lobbying periods, or those who are already members of the guild"

Ahh its a pay us an annual fee and vote yourself an award club. Dont tell me they issue a membership pin too. How cute!

What an absolute joke. More like the writer was left outside standing. Uncharted I would nominate but the rest? Not a chance.

Even Lollipop Chainsaw's writing p**ses all over that list!

To not include the two best written games of last year (if not ever!), The Walking Dead and Spec Ops: The Line, just goes to show how far the industry's attitude has to change to consistently create meaningful characters and a narrative, and stop treating dialogue as a sound effect and a plot as just a way to get from one set piece to another.

Oh, wait. They just nominated themselves? Never mind then...

Uncharted: Golden Abyss was nominated, you know, the PS Vita game? It wasn't even developed by Naughty Dog. According to reviews, and various gameplay videos I've seen, it doesn't hold a candle to the PS3 trilogy which would deserve nominations.

Crap list indeed although I hear Halo is good but where is Max Payne, Unchartered and Dishonoured, hell even Hitman beats 007!

A game about a rectangle would beat them all without a doubt, nothing more than a damn rectangle!

Yeah, Uncharted GA on Vita was an enjoyable game to play but the actual writing was cheesy.

Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 2, they're games with good writing, in my opinion.
