Yes lets wait until the next gen is announced and loose what little momentum we have gained. Sounds good to me. :D

As much as I don't want to admit it, this was another 'impulse' buy (same as the Wii) and I totally agree with you. I should've waited until they had a more concrete list of must-have games. It's collecting dust as we speak. And as soon as the new Playstation and Xbox are on the scene, I doubt very much this is going to get a look in. The fat lady hasn't even started warming up yet though so I hope they've got some really great stuff in the pipeline :D

The good stuff then. Expected as much from Pikmin and Wonderful 101, was kinda surprised Nintendo were initially looking to release W101 so soon after Rising.

I'll just do with the Wii and wait a couple of years till the price has been slashed and there's a nice little stack of games to go with it.

The sad and disappointing thing is that after a couple years, there should be more than a "little stack of games" worth buying, but if we go by history, that's just what there will be.

Maybe they are planning on having some new games to sell when and if they announce a price cut. Thats the only smart thing I can see coming from this.

All this nintendo talk really makes me miss wave race 64. I loved that game.

It's too soon to say I've got buyer's remorse, as the console will still be worth getting for me and I don't mind paying the premium of getting it at launch. Aside from the load times, I think the console itself, and especially the pad, is brilliant.

That's as long as the games come, and I know there will be for me, but maybe not enough for others. What was looking to be a fantastic launch window has definitely failed to live up to expectations. I'm happy up to now, but even though I've only finished ZombiU out of my 5 launch games, I'd like something before Rayman in 6 weeks time, then Monster Hunter and Lego City a couple of weeks later. So nothing for ages and then 3 games in 3 weeks.

Hopefully Pikmin and W101 will follow in April or May rather than June, but I'll have GTA in May, which is the only thing apart from Revengeance I'll be getting on the 360 for the foreseeable. But the 360 isn't a brand new console trying to prove itself. If only the third party support was better, things would be looking great, as the exclusives look fantastic to me, and beyond what Sony/MS can offer me, personally.

I just hope Nintendo don't get lazy, like they did after they released a stream of big Wii games in 2007/8, because they're going to have to be on top of their game when they do release stuff.

And sort out VC on the game pad, it surely must be so simple?

I honestly think that if there aren't any big game announcements for wii u at E3 this year I'll be trading it in towards ps4/720

No worries - still yet to get the Wii U (probably in the next month or two) as still getting through some old Wii games that I haven't played yet. Already got 7 Wii U games on my "to get list" that are out already so this delay doesn't affect me.

E3 is gonna be huge for all three manufacturers. MS and Sony better deliver with their next gen reveals, with the latter poised to announce some exciting Vita stuff as well.

As for Nintendo, I have no doubt they're gonna reveal a few big games like DKC, Mario Kart or Metroid. Unless they have a corporate death wish, that is.
