Apparently HMV Ireland Is separate to HMV UK and turns a profit, its just Deloitte dont know what to do with it yet so told them to shut up shop until they know what to do!

Wouldn't be surprised if a good few of those are employees who lost their previous jobs last year when the Irish arm of GAME shut up shop. I'm struggling to think of what we have left at this point. Gamestop?

GameStop is pretty much the only one left. Apart from Tesco. I can see GameStop jacking up prices even more now that they have pretty much no competition!

Gamestop is far too expensive. It sells new games at €60, while HMV would sell the same game for €45. Sad times seeing HMV go.

Good luck to everyone involved.

On a side topic, people who work at places like HMV and especially CEX all have that poor student look don't they?

I always find HMV staff to be more like that designer punk look. Seems facial piercings are part of their uniform!
EA Sports: It's in the game(for a price).

Surely if this is in Ireland then it would be a 'sit-out', wouldn't it?
