God I love being a pc gamer. never a dull moment. the future looks very bright, shame Rockstar had to be all backwards. They make amazing games but I believe this will come back to bite them in the arse.

So if all this is coming to PC, even the console games, how can consoles be accused of holding back PC gaming when after reading this article a ton of nerds will have rushed out to make sure they have some recordable DVDs or a bigger hard drive to download all the ISOs that are coming in 2013 to the priate gaming community? ;)

There's SO much PC goodness at the moment.

I haven't started Dishonoured and I haven't even bothered getting Far Cry 3 yet because FTL has been taking up all those half hour chunks of time that I tend to game in, and The Walking Dead has been waiting for me to actually spend time on.

Then there's all the amazing looking Kickstarter things coming, Wasteland 2 is looking ACE and theres a new freaking Elite and ANOTHER Obsidian RPG, Project Eternity, that would make things happen in my trousers if I wasn't just too cool for that sort of thing.

Star Citizen is the new game from Chris Roberts of Wing Commander fame, and then there's the first showing of Unreal Engine 4 in Epic's Fortnite.

Then there'll be another massive time sink in the new Football Manager, Final Fantasy XIV has apparently stopped being appalling and is now the game that XIII could have been, plus Company Of Heroes 2, and oh yeah.

Starcraft 2: Heart Of The Swarm

Which isn't on Robs list for some reason.

I don't think Half Life exists anymore, I think Gabe ate the dev team and no-one wants to talk about it.

EDIT: Also Fallout 4. AAAAAAAAH. I DON'T HAVE TIME.

(and genuinely, could not give a damn about Rockstar. I haven't actually enjoyed a R* game since Bully. )

He's just trying to get people to talk to him by being stupid, don't rise to it.

Unlike you I'll think I'll buy them,

Hi mate, it's because games made for consoles are using directx 9 whilst modern pc games use directx 11.

Once new consoles come out they'll be optimised for dx11 not 9.

Huh... this article just made me aware that "The Witness" is going to be PC exclusive for now. Which I find really odd though, considering that the graphics don't look great so far. I would think that current-gen consoles could pull that off easily. Although he is mostly talking about RAM, so... maybe they're keeping the whole isle in RAM at once? Which... would just be inefficient programming? Ah well... I'll see, I guess.
