:( I ought to feel happy that Shigeru is encouraging challenge, and for any other genre/series I would be, but I am rubbish at Pikmin/RTSes. I never did get 2, and was hoping that 3 would serve as a nice re-introduction to the series. But nope.

Pick up the Wii version of Pikmin 2, it's well worth the price.

Hah! that's what you think.

Rumours are that it starts with Olimar getting raped and the first ten levels are him trying to find all his clothes.

The second was never as good as the first. Nintendo introduced radomly generated 'dungeon levels' in the game that ruined it for me. Got half way through and never bothered to finish it as a result. The first one was much better. Managed to find everything by Day 24 so I never had a problem with the time limit.
