cant wait to waste hundreds of hours on this game.i like how theyve got co-op play with cha-cha and kayamba.

I haven't played monster hunter, so do you have to attack monsters that will only fight to defend themselves - I.e. they would otherwise be peaceful if you didn't try to skin them to upgrade your boots/ whatever?

All of them are peace full in there own right,its when you cross their path and they defend there territory.you usually get a trumpet past with a tune to let you know they've spotted you.when dead you carve there body to collect hide,rare jewels ,bones,tusks,tails.after you done it a few times it emotionally tuffens you up,so dont worry about morals.
