We're hardly soft touches here at GamesMaster. We spend better parts of the day battering zombies to undeath and/or painting the air blue during a game of FIFA or Halo. But every once in a while comes a game with such powerfully constructed beauty, both in form and in substance, that even our battle-weary hearts thaw.... read more

I have the special edition preordered as well. And I am looking forward to it since I beat the ds version.

But would I say its the best jrpg in ages? not really/

Plenty more even that year ( 2009) I liked more than the ds version

just played the demo. Gorgeus visuals, adorible even, excellant voice acting and nice battles. I dont play many Jrpg's but, if this ones anything to go by, perhaps I should start. Felt to me like a Zelda, Prof layton, pokemon hybrd - but perhaps all Jrpg's are like that - as I said, I rarely play them.

Promising.

This game is going to be what I've been waiting to play since Last gen ended!

On a side note, I'm just playing through Tales of Graces f and it's bloody fantastic.

Yeah on your Wii, but PS3 has been starved of quality JRPG's, not even Final Fantasy had a half decent one out this gen. I've got my emulator running on my computer now for some Wii HD goodness so I'll be catching up starting with The Last Story.

I just try the Demo & the game is awesome, amazing, superb & beautiful beyond imagination!!! it have the complexity of Dragon Quest on char growth, a lot of skills to learn & customize, a lot of familiars to find & grow with their own skills & tricks, the most fantastic world map I have ever see on any JRPG.

The battle is not mindless skill-spamming it needs some brain to win especially on boss fights, when u have 3 different familiars u can use, u must thing which one can do the job best, there is a knight familiar (swrod/shield) that specialize in close combat & some other more mage-like that u can use from distance because they r not so good like the 1st one to absorb dmg, so depend the situation u call in or out of the fight this little creatures & sometimes Oliver himself must handle the situation because there is some things only he can do like use items to restore HP/MP or use heal spells :)

All in all I <3 it cant w8 to play it!

Xenoblade is even better. You're in for a treat.

On topic, I am annoyed beyond belief that the DS version was canned. I'd gladly give the Sony fans back their Bayonetta 2 in exchange for this.

GNamer, for Nintendo talk.
