I actually kind of like this approach. There are some games that I wouldn't pay full price for a console release (like this, Mortal Kombat, or the new Ratchet and Clank) but I'd go for the Vita version. I wonder how widespread this attitude is, though.

wicked glad i didn't get the ps3 version cause if its like mk which im guessing it will be ill will be the game of the year version so all dlc n s**t maybe cross play in the patch eventho it might be dead but still offline can keep me

Hopefully this doesnt suffer graphically like Mortal Kombat did, but at the same time, I hope it follows MK and is a perfect port gameplay and content wise. Throwing in some DLC would be a bonus too.
