I backed Ouya on Kickstarter. What is there not to like? It is cheap and fun and hackable

It might not set the world on fire but it will keep me interested at least until the next Microsoft/Sony consoles come out.

Really exciting, especially with the likes of Ed Fries, etc, consulting on it.

How does Raspberry PI compare to this, in terms of GPU / CPU?

This is probably the most interesting thing that's happening in the console world at the moment and I will certainly be picking one up myself.

Some of the very best gaming experiences available this gen have come from an individual, partnership or very small team (Braid, Limbo, Fez, Super Meat Boy, etc) working on heartfelt projects with a level of artistry, understanding and innovation that we simply don't see from the bigger development companies. The Ouya gives an opportunity for a lot more of these projects to see the light of day since it's free from certification and licensing, and given it's dirt cheap, will hopefully build quite the install base.

Basically, it's a good thing.

It much much more powerful than a Raspberry pi. I have a pi setup running XBMC and its great but the Ouya would wipe the floor with it.

STILL can't find any info on where games are stored... Do you need to download them onto a USB stick or a portable hard drive, or does it have built in storage and if so how much? Any info would be great. Had a look at their web site and still couldn't find anything.

This is such an exciting time for indie developers, what with Ouya and the likes of Kickstarter. It's the start of the revolution, allowing the bedroom coders to once again produce games for the TV.

Gone are the costly barriers such as XBL and PSN - see Fez and Darwinia+

Gone are the suits who subsidise development and have way too much say on the direction of the game.

Gone are the sequels and safe franchises we see repeated time and time again in the game charts because they present less risk to the investor - madden, nhl, nba,etc

Exciting times!

Original games!

Can't wait!
