NMH was out on the PS3, I believe. NMH2 is a more baffling omission.

BUY MURAMASA EVERYONE.

I highly recommend Zak and Wiki. It's a shame it didn't do better because I'd love to see a sequel. I should probably pick up a few of these wii games as mine has been neglected for years but it sounds like a jet about to take off, which is worrying, so i'm not sure I want to invest in games if it's on it's way out.

Metagen:

I don't see why that should matter. If you've got the system, the games are still games. Also, if you are going to be picking up a Wii U, don't forget that it's backwards compatible with all these (and other) great Wii games. :-)

I also agree with you that I can't recommend Zack and Wiki enough. Its a GREAT game...but not for the faint of heart as some of the puzzles towards the end are devilish! :)

I also think its funny: I own 10 of these already. I still need to get Xenoblade when I get a chance, though. :( I have heard nothing but great things about that one. Tatsunoko not too sure about, as I'm not the biggest fighting game fan and Brawl gives me that fix. I would add Arc Rise Fantasia (if you are into JRPG's) and Fragile Dreams to the list, as well as games like Muramasa, Epic Mickey (despite its flaws its still a great game, especially for Disney fans), Rune Factory Frontier, Super Mario Galaxy, and No More Heroes 1/2. To be honest, there really are a TON of great games on the Wii...so many people looked down on the "little white box that could" when it has a surprisingly deep and wonderful game collection to dig into!

Such is the way with Nintendo consoles. For all the scorn poured upon them, they have a good supply of great games. And the third party releases may not be the most ubiquitous, but when they're good they're "quirky and interesting" good, which is the best sort of good.

Dunno what 'ubiquitous' means but I agree with the rest of that.

Ubiquitous is basically something being omnipresent.
Here's a lockpick, now jog on.

I'm having lamb for dinner today because our lass is omnipotent.

I wouldn't normally mind but I feel a bit incontinent.

And it could possibly make me impotent.
Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to stay on my toes.

No LAST STORY. What the hell. Looks like its still going to be overlooked. Despite being one of the best JRPGs in years.

Other than that I agree with the list but heres a couple more. Lost in Shadow, Fragile.

I always though Lost In Shadow was a bit ubiquitous.
